Last week we said goodbye to Rein and Christa after almost four fun weeks in New York and New England. These pics are from an epic Saturday we had in Manhattan. We visited the Conservatory Garden in Central Park, had brunch at Sarabeth’s, shopped at the Corner Bookstore, checked out the Rineke Dijkstra show and the installation on the rooftop of the Met. I love those days where you feel like you were able to take full advantage of this great city.

Vermont Camping
Summer is flying by! Before I turn off the A/C and pull out our light jackets, I have many adventures to share. Back in July, we flew up to Vermont and met up with Rein and Christa for three nights of camping on Burton Island. Cars are not allowed on the island, so it really gave us a chance to get back to nature. The fresh air, lake swimming and going to bed and waking up with the sun were all amazing. The eight hour downpour and thunderstorm were less welcome, but they are becoming part of our camping tradition.
